This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for subscription payments made to Tiqra. This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service and 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Tiqra operates on a subscription-based model with monthly and annual billing cycles. We believe in fair and transparent billing practices. If you are unsatisfied with the Service for any reason, we encourage you to contact us so we can work to resolve your concerns.
New subscribers are eligible for our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee, which provides a full refund within the first 30 days of your initial paid subscription, no questions asked.
2. Subscription Cancellation
2.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through one of the following methods:
- Self-Service: Navigate to Settings > Billing > Subscription in your Tiqra account and click "Cancel Subscription."
- Email: Send a cancellation request to support@tiqra.io from the email address associated with your account.
- Support: Contact our support team through the in-app chat or help center.
2.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription, the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to the Service and all features included in your plan until the end of the paid period. After that, your account will be downgraded to a limited free tier or deactivated, depending on your plan.
Your data will be retained for 30 days after the end of your subscription to allow you to export your data or reactivate your account. After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:
3.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are a new subscriber and are not satisfied with the Service within the first 30 days of your initial paid subscription, you are entitled to a full refund under our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. No questions asked.
3.2 Billing Errors
If you have been incorrectly charged due to a billing error (e.g., duplicate charge, incorrect amount, charge after cancellation), you are entitled to a full refund of the erroneous charge. Please contact us within 60 days of the charge with details of the error.
3.3 Service Outages
If the Service experiences extended downtime (exceeding 24 consecutive hours or falling below our 99.9% monthly uptime commitment) and the downtime materially impacts your ability to use the Service, you may be eligible for a prorated service credit or refund for the affected period. Credits will be applied to your next billing cycle.
3.4 Annual Subscription Early Cancellation
For annual subscriptions cancelled within the first 30 days, the full 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies. After 30 days, annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances such as business closure or medical hardship.
4. Prorated Billing
Tiqra does not provide prorated refunds for partial months or partial annual periods when you cancel mid-cycle. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. However:
- Upgrades: When you upgrade your plan, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.
- Downgrades: When you downgrade your plan, the new lower rate will apply at the start of your next billing period. No refund is issued for the difference during the current period.
- Add-ons: Add-on features that are billed separately follow the same cancellation policy: active until the end of the current billing period with no partial refunds.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Email support@tiqra.io with the subject line "Refund Request."
- Provide Details: Include your account email, the date and amount of the charge, and the reason for your refund request.
- Verification: Our team will verify your identity and review your request. We may ask for additional information to process your request.
- Decision: We will notify you of our decision within 5 business days of receiving your complete request.
Refund requests submitted more than 90 days after the charge date may not be eligible for a refund, except in cases of billing errors discovered later.
6. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved:
- Credit/Debit Card: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. The actual time for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer.
- Bank Transfer: Refunds via bank transfer may take 10-15 business days to process.
- Account Credit: If you prefer, we can apply the refund as a credit to your Tiqra account for future use, which will be applied immediately.
Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment. Any currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider are not refundable by Tiqra.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Free Trial Periods: No charges are incurred during free trials, so no refunds apply.
- Setup or Onboarding Fees: One-time setup, configuration, or onboarding fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered.
- Custom Development: Fees for custom development, integrations, or consulting services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Domain or Third-Party Purchases: Any domain registrations, SSL certificates, or third-party service fees purchased through Tiqra are non-refundable.
- Promotional Credits: Credits applied from promotional offers, referral programs, or similar incentives are non-refundable and have no cash value.
8. Exceptions & Special Cases
We understand that exceptional circumstances arise. We may grant refunds outside the standard policy for:
- Medical Emergencies: If you or a key stakeholder in your business experiences a medical emergency that prevents use of the Service.
- Business Closure: If your business permanently closes and you can no longer use the Service.
- Natural Disasters: If a natural disaster or force majeure event materially impacts your ability to use the Service.
- Regulatory Changes: If changes in law or regulation in your jurisdiction prohibit your use of the Service.
Requests for exceptional refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please provide supporting documentation when submitting your request.
9. Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade your subscription plan (e.g., from a higher tier to a lower tier), the downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing period. You will retain access to all features of your current plan until that time. No refund or credit is issued for the difference between plans during the current billing period.
When downgrading, please be aware that certain features, data limits, or user seats included in your current plan may no longer be available. We recommend exporting any data that exceeds the limits of your new plan before the downgrade takes effect.
10. Billing Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, we encourage you to contact us directly at support@tiqra.io before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving billing disputes promptly and fairly.
Please note that initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account until the dispute is resolved. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and collection proceedings.
